Which exams does Gauteng set?
The ones here are November (Term 4), May/June (Term 2), Feb/March (Term 1), September (Term 3). A province sets the papers its own schools write through the year, including the September preparatory exams that Grade 12 writes as a rehearsal for the finals.
Can I use Gauteng papers if I am in another province?
Yes. Every province teaches the same CAPS curriculum and every matric writes the same national paper in November, so a Gauteng paper tests the same content yours will. It is worth writing whichever papers you can get, and we do not hold papers for every province because not every department publishes them online.
