Does Wits include Life Orientation in APS?
Yes. Wits includes Life Orientation in APS, but at a lower weighting than your core academic subjects.
Wits uses a weighted calculation across all 7 subjects, out of 56 points. English and Maths carry a bonus, LO contributes a capped value, and all 7 subjects count rather than only the best 6.

Get help on WhatsAppWits uses a different system from most universities. It looks at all 7 matric subjects, including Life Orientation, and gives extra weighting to English and Mathematics. Other subjects usually score up to 7 points, while Life Orientation is capped lower. That is why your Wits APS is not comparable to your UP or UJ APS.
