MUT counts your best 5 subjects only, on an 8 point ladder: 90 to 100% = 8, 80 to 89% = 7, 70 to 79% = 6, 60 to 69% = 5, 50 to 59% = 4, 40 to 49% = 3, and anything below 40% scores nothing. Life Orientation is excluded entirely. Five subjects, not six, so the total runs to 40. One weak subject hurts less here than anywhere else, but there is nowhere to hide a second one.
