Find a career that fits you
Answer 6 quick questions about what you like to do. We match you to careers, then show you how to become each one: what to study, where, and how to pay for it. There are no right or wrong answers.
How the career quiz works
Not sure what to study or which career to pick? This free quiz helps you find careers that match what you like to do. It uses a well-known method called the RIASEC (Holland) model, which sorts interests into six areas. You rate six statements, and we match your answers to careers. Then, unlike most quizzes, we show you exactly how to become each match: the subjects and marks you need, which universities and colleges offer it, what it costs, the bursaries you can get, and how to apply.
The six areas the quiz looks at
Hands-on and practical
Work with your hands, tools, and machines. Fix and build real things, and be active or work outside.
Thinking and solving
Solve problems by thinking and researching. Use science to understand how and why things work.
Creative
Create things and use your imagination, like art, design, writing, music, or cooking. Do things your own way.
Helping people
Help, teach, and care for people. Work with others and make their lives better.
Leading and selling
Lead, persuade, and sell. Be in charge, do deals, start things, and take the lead.
Organised and careful
Work with numbers, records, and clear rules. Keep things neat, correct, and in order.
